Meeting the Highest Standards

THE FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES SEAL OF EXCELLENCE - Accredited - Accredited by the American Association of Family and Consumer SciencesThe College as a whole meets the highest standards as evidenced by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences. Accreditation, defined by the AAFCS Council for Accreditation (CFA), is a system for reviewing a family and consumer sciences (FCS) units to meet or exceed stated criteria of educational quality. To maintain accreditation, a college or unit of family and consumer sciences must undergo a rigorous internal review at intervals of three, five, and seven years. Accreditation is granted for a maximum of 10 years.
