Why I chose my major

Going into college, I knew I wanted to study something that allowed me to help others. Then I discovered HDFS, a major where I got to learn about how people and their families change and grow. I love that it takes a holistic approach to understanding humans because it is applicable to so many career paths.  

What I like most about FACS

FACS is family! From the minute I stepped into Dawson Hall at freshman orientation, FACS immediately felt like home. They are truly some of the sweetest professors, advisors, and classmates out there. On top of that, the smaller class sizes help you feel even more connected to your peers and professors.
