Center on Human Development and Disability (CHDD)

MISSION

UGA's Center on Human Development and Disability (CHDD) educates, informs, and serves people with disabilities and the communities where they live, learn, work, and contribute.

APART OF A NETWORK

Since 1963, CHDD has been apart of the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) network and ranks as one of the UGA’s oldest continuously-funded federal programs. The UCEDD Network is a national system of 68 university-based centers working to promote independence, productivity, and community inclusion for individuals with developmental and other disabilities.
