Housed in the Department of Human Development and Family Science, the Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy program equips students to pursue licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists. This full-time, in-person, two-year curriculum is designed to meet the accreditation standards set by the Commission for Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
The Master of Science in Couple and Family Therapy (CFT) program is a residential program dedicated to training clinicians in systemic, relational approaches to therapy.
Students can choose between thesis and non-thesis options, catering to those considering doctoral studies. The thesis option is ideal for students who wish to pursue research and academic careers post-masters.
